Is this because of something with java and minecraft not updating yet? It is happening to everyone I know who has a mac and I've tried restarting my computer, re-installing minecraft, logging out and then logging back in, and even reverting to an old OS X.
Whereas my folder is called 1.8.0_74 in the place of 1.8.0_60. Whenever I click the play button in the minecraft launcher no matter what version of minecraft, the launcher is trying to look for a folder called 1.8.0_60 inside of the application contents.
